What this site is

This site exists to show our work and to let you start a conversation with us. The content here is informational. It is not architectural, engineering, structural, legal, tax, or financial advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for a licensed professional assessing your specific property and project.

Enquiries do not create a contract

Submitting the enquiry form, emailing us, or speaking with us does not create a contract, a client relationship, or any obligation on either side. Nothing on this site is an offer to perform work or a quotation. Any project we take on is governed solely by a separate written construction or renovation agreement signed by both parties. Where those documents and this site differ, the signed agreement controls.

Project information and estimates

Square footages, timelines, specifications, materials, and any figures discussed informally are indicative only. Every home is different, and site conditions, design decisions, permitting, and material availability all move the numbers. Nothing here should be treated as a fixed price or a guaranteed schedule.

Portfolio and intellectual property

The photography, project descriptions, text, layout, and the Starboard name and compass mark are owned by Starboard Development LLC or used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce our photography or copy our content for commercial use, or present our projects as your own work, without written permission.

Completed homes shown here are the product of collaboration. Architects, interior designers, consultants, trade partners, and photographers hold their own rights in their contributions, and being featured in our portfolio does not transfer those rights to us or to you.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to submit false information or to impersonate anyone, to send unsolicited commercial messages through the enquiry form, to attempt to gain access to any private area of the site or its systems, to scrape or harvest content or contact details at scale, or to interfere with the operation of the site. We may refuse or remove any submission and may restrict access where we believe it is being misused.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

Limitation of liability

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from the site or these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above will change when we do, and continued use of the site after that date means you accept the revision.
